In many ways RE/MAX Benchmark Realty Group has changed the way real estate brokerage is done here in Orange County, New York. The challenge of the real estate market in 2012 required a recommitment on the part of the real estate sales community; our RE/MAX Benchmark Realty Group associates did just that. Many RE/MAX Benchmark associates followed the lead of RE/MAX International in focusing on the short sale/foreclosure market obtaining their CDPE designation (Certified Distressed Properties Expert). RE/MAX associates across the franchise have more such designees than all the other national franchises combined. Homeowners, some of whom are in financial trouble in their homes, have looked to RE/MAX in leading the way in helping them move forward with dignity.
Our market presence has grown to market leadership since our formation in late 1991. During 2012 RE/ MAX Benchmark Realty Group closed its 16,600th real estate transaction since our inception. That’s 16,600 families whose real estate needs were satisfied by our “outstanding agents“. No other real estate company in Orange County even comes close during that period of time.
In 2012, RE/MAX Benchmark Realty Group maintained its position as the #1 RE/MAX company in the Lower Hudson Valley District which includes the counties of Orange, Dutchess, Rockland, Putnam, Westchester, Ulster and Sullivan. Virtually every associate contributes a portion of every commission to the Children’s Miracle Network. With over $ 150,000 contributed to date, RE/MAX Benchmark Realty Group has helped RE/MAX International reach the incredible total $110 Million donated to CMN, the first non-retail organization to reach that level of commitment. RE/MAX Benchmark is annually recognized by RE/MAX International as one of the top RE/MAX companies in the in Premier Community Citizenship in the United States. RE/MAX Benchmark Realty Group in 2012 continued its active participation in the Susan B. Komen “Race for the Cure” joining RE/MAX International in the fight against Breast Cancer. In 2012 Habitat for Humanity continued to be a very important part of RE/MAX Benchmark Realty Group community citizenship commitment. With “helping hands” RE/MAX Benchmark Realty Group has contributed not only funds to Habitat for Humanity, but our labor as well, “working together to build houses “not for people, but with people” in need of decent affordable housing.”
